Half-Life: Decay

Some modders have ported over the co-op game which appeared exclusively on the PS2 version of Half-Life. So now we can have some lovely 2-player half-life co-op action. Like playing on a poorly-populated sven-coop map. Via RPS.

Game Idea

That’s basically all there is to it. You play a little dude, fighting zombies. Either to be side-scrollery or an arena shooter like SmashTV. Maybe an RTS, with a little four-man squad to control, with RPG elements. Possibly co-op. Like a little point-and-click Left 4 Dead with adorable men. That’d be cool

What have I been up to

I haven’t posted in a week! I’ve been busy at school and stuff, that’s why. I’ve also been playing gratuitous amounts of Fallout, purchased from the supreme good old games. 4 euro for Fallout 1 and 2! It works like steam, but in a browser. Sign into your account, buy some games for dirt cheap. Game install badly, or mess up somehow? Go to your account page and re-download it. It’s awesome. Really, really awesome

In other news, the Good Old Games beta is up, for those of us who signed up. In your faces, people-who-I-go-to-for-my-gaming-news, I got in!

I guess I should keep mum, as I might be under some NDA, but I don’t know. It’s basically just the shopfront and you can comment and review. They’ve got a fair selection so far. I’ll certainly get a few of my old favourites, as they all run under Vista.

School’s in for the autumn, winter and spring

I’m back in school, and that’s why I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve also been playing a lot of Doom 2, Quake 2 and Guitar Hero 3. They’re all good. I picked up audiosurf recently. I haven’t played all that much of it, but I may start soon, just to get the achievements. Nobody in Ireland plays it though, so I’ve got no nearby competition.
